Directions to Poplar Grove Plantation

Poplar Grove is located on highway 17, approximately nine miles north of Wilmington at Scotts Hill.

 Coming on highway 17 south, Coming on highway 17 south, Poplar Grove is approximately five miles past Hampstead on the left-hand side.  Landmarks:  immediately before Poplar Grove, on the right-hand side are Scotts Hill Methodist Church and Sidbury Rd.  You will see Poplar Grove's entrance sign and driveway on your left, you have to go a short distance past Poplar Grove (no left-hand turns allowed), make a u-turn and head back north to turn into our entrance.

 Coming in on I-40, Coming in on I-40, Poplar Grove is approximately 6 – 7 miles from the 1-40 exit onto I-140.  Take exit 416B, highway 17 north (Topsail Island, New Bern) stay straight to get on highway 17 north (Topsail Island, Jacksonville, New Bern), go through one stop light at Futch Creek Rd., Poplar Grove will be on the right (approximately 1 – 1.5 miles from the light), you'll see the manor house first, then our entrance sign and driveway.  We are just past the south end of Scotts Hill Loop Rd., Sidbury Rd. and a Methodist Church are on the left.

 From points south: use highway 17 north to Hwy. 421, exit onto I-140 continue east.
